| For
those About To Be Tattooed (We Salute You)
What
to expect:
After selection of your design the area of skin to
be tattooed will be shaved and cleaned. The design
will then be either stenciled or freehand drawn on
the skin before tattooing begins. Stretching of the
skin will accompany the tattooing process, periodically
the area will be cleaned with a disinfectant spray.
Does
it hurt:
A level of discomfort will be felt. This is more easily
adjusted to if you relax, your physical and mental
state has a large bearing on how you deal with the
process of being tattooed. If you are comfortable,
this will enable the tattooist to work with speed
and accuracy. When you wish to stop is up to you.
Client
Advice:
Avoid drinking heavily the night before a tattoo.
On the day it is wise to avoid dehydration or hunger
as they may lead to lightheadedness or fainting (this
is not uncommon), also avoid excessive caffine or
nicotine and never use drugs before being tattooed!
Please inform your tattooist (confidentially) of any
infectious diseases you may have before being tattooed.
